Getting started and the free trial
Choose to start the trial, confirm your business email and a mobile number (we text a code), then add a card. The card is not charged until the trial ends. See the pricing page for plan details.
Yes. A guided setup walks through your business details, labor rate and markups, your first service, first customer, first quote and a test quote emailed only to you. “Try with sample data” adds clearly labelled sample records that one button removes.
VisionScaper is a WordPress plugin. It adds the Designer for your visitors and the Contractor Hub for you and your crew to your own website. The Help Center covers installing and activating it.
It opens a short explanation and an example. The most-used screens also have a “Show me” tour.
Billing and plans
No. There is one per business, and deleting an account or changing email does not give another.
From Plan & billing in the app, which opens Stripe’s customer portal for payment methods, invoices, switching plans and cancelling at the end of the period.
Access steps down in stages, starting with a notice and email, then pausing costly extras, then read-only, then suspended. Appointment reminders, receipts and invoices to your customers keep going. A suspended account is not deleted: you can view and export everything, and paying restores access.
Payments and customer cards
By card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or bank account (ACH) on Stripe’s page. The money goes to your own Stripe account, which you connect once in Settings under Get paid online. Bank payments take several business days to clear and can be returned.
Yes, QuickBooks Online and Xero connect per business from the Hub and sync customers, with invoices, payments and approved expenses as set up. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported; use CSV import and export instead.
Autopay charges an invoice marked autopay on its due date, once, using a card or bank account the customer saved on Stripe’s page. It is off until the site owner turns it on, and customers can remove the saved method in My Projects.
No. The phone app records payments you received another way, such as cash or check. Customers pay by the website’s payment link.
Texts and email
Common reasons: texting is not set up, US carriers have not approved your business registration (A2P 10DLC), your plan does not include texts, the customer opted out, or it fell in quiet hours. By default no text goes out before 8 am or after 9 pm in the customer’s time. Read more on texting and email.
A customer who texts STOP is opted out of texts, and START opts them back in. Replies are logged on the customer record and emailed to you.
Usually the sending domain is missing SPF, DKIM or DMARC records. The email check in the app looks them up and tells you which is missing.
The Designer, AI credits and your data
In the visitor’s browser on their device. Nothing is uploaded unless they send a design to a contractor. Signing in saves designs online. Try the Designer.
Free daily credits refill each day. Bought credits never expire and are used after the free ones. Planning an AI change is free; the screen shows the cost before it runs.
The library covers East Coast plants, and aerial views cover US addresses. You can still design anywhere with your own photo, and add your own items.
Yes. Add an item from a photo and it is saved to your own library.
