WordPress settings: business name, email and region
The Basics section of Settings → VisionScaper: business name, short name, website, home region and where designs and leads are emailed.
On this page
Open Settings → VisionScaper in WordPress. The first section is Basics.
Steps
- Fill in Business name. This is the brand shown in the app. It is also the name used for your sign-in apps.
- Home region (for plant advice): type a state, such as “Connecticut”. It is used for visitors who have not said where they are. Everyone else gets advice for their own state. VisionScaper works anywhere in the US.
- Short name (for “Send to …” button): a short version of your name. It appears on the button where customers send you a design.
- Website shown on saved images: your web address, shown on pictures customers save.
- Send designs and leads to: the email address that receives designs, leads and notices. Use an inbox you check.
- Under Emails to you, tick what you want:
– Let customers send their finished design to you (“Send to …”)
– Email me every VisionScaper AI design (before/after + customer details). The label on the screen may still show an older product name.
– Email me when someone creates an account - Click Save Changes at the bottom.
What each field does
| Field | Effect |
|---|---|
| Business name | Brand text in the app and on sign-in screens. |
| Home region | Default state for plant advice. |
| Short name | Wording on the send-to-you button. |
| Website shown on saved images | Added to saved pictures. |
| Send designs and leads to | Where emails go. If blank, notices may not reach you. |
Tips
- Use a real, monitored email. Designs and leads arrive there.
- If you turn off “Let customers send their finished design to you”, visitors can still save and print designs, but not send them.
- Secret fields on this page show dots after you save. Leaving dots in place keeps the saved value. Replace the dots to change it.
If something goes wrong
- Emails never arrive. Check spam. Then check that your WordPress site can send mail (an SMTP plugin often fixes this).
- Saved changes vanish. Make sure you clicked Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
