{brand} Replaced by your business name from your VisionScaper settings.

How acceptance works

  • Visitors see the notice “By continuing to use this website you agree to the Terms of Service” until they acknowledge it, and again when the terms change.
  • People creating an account or applying as a contractor also tick a box.
  • Each acceptance is stored with the version, method (notice, signup or contractor), time and the IP address. Only the last 20 entries per person are kept.
  • The page shows “Last updated” with the date you last saved.

Steps

  1. Write headings with ##, bullets with -.
  2. Use {brand} instead of typing your business name.
  3. Save, then open the Terms page to review.

Tips

  • The default text has 12 sections including contractor, hiring and canvassing rules.

If something goes wrong

  • Headings not showing: the ## must be at the start of the line followed by a space.
