Settings → Show me & tools: Simple/Full and ten tool switches
The Simple or Full choice and the ten switches (Payroll export to AI marketing) that show or hide advanced tools.
On this page
Open the Contractor Hub, choose Settings, pick the Business group and the Show me & tools tab. It controls how much of VisionScaper you see in menus and on your Today screen. Switching never deletes or changes anything you have entered, and hidden tools can be turned back on with everything in place.
Before you start
- If the screen only says “Update the VisionScaper plugin on your website to use Simple and Full”, your site is running an older plugin. Ask the site owner to update it.
- A business that already existed when this feature arrived (version 2.26.0) is set to Full, so nobody lost anything. A business created after that starts on Simple.

Turn on more tools card
Ten switches. A tool is shown when its own switch says so. If you never touched its switch, it follows the Show me mode (Full = shown, Simple = hidden).

Steps
- Open Settings → Business → Show me & tools.
- Choose Simple if you want a calmer screen, or Full to see everything.
- Under Turn on more tools, slide on the switches for the tools you use. For example, switch on Route planner if you plan daily routes.
- Each change saves by itself. The page redraws and a message confirms it.
- Check the Hub menu: the tool now appears or disappears.
Tips
- If you open a hidden tool by an old link or bookmark, a notice at the top says it is off and gives a Turn on button.
- Switches only show or hide. Scheduled jobs, saved data and permissions behave as before.
- Start on Simple, then add tools as you need them.
If something goes wrong
- A switch will not change. It is disabled while saving; wait a moment, then try again. If it keeps failing, reload the Hub.
- The menu did not change. Reload the page; the menu is redrawn after the switch saves.
- Not enough room on the phone menu. Hide tools you do not use here, or use the Layout tab to hide areas.
