Entitlements page: Prices & upgrade destination

Approve plan prices so visitors can see them, and set where the See plans button leads.

Where: Settings → VisionScaper Entitlements → Prices & upgrade destination. Administrators only. This small form decides whether prices are visible to the public, and where upgrade buttons send people.

Shipped prices are proposals until you approve them. On a brand-new install the approval box is empty, so prices stay hidden. A site that had already saved its plans before this feature counts as approved.

Fields

Field (exact label) What it does What to enter Default / notes
I have approved the plan prices – show them to visitors and in upgrade prompts (ent[prices_approved]) Off: the public pricing feed (/wp-json/dreamscaper/v1/plans/public) returns the plans with no prices. On: it includes monthly and yearly prices. The feed never includes Stripe IDs or keys. Tick only once the numbers on VisionScaper Plans are your final, approved prices. Off for a new install.
Where “See plans” goes (leave empty for the app’s Plan & billing screen) (ent[upgrade_url]) The web address of upgrade prompts and error messages. Empty means the app’s own Plan & billing screen. A full URL such as https://example.com/pricing, or empty. Empty.
Reason (ent[reason]) Written to the audit log next to the approval change. Optional here; if blank the log says “(no reason given)”. Short sentence. Empty.
Save Stores the three fields and writes a “prices_approved” audit line with the old and new value. Press once.

Steps

  1. Finish prices on VisionScaper Plans first ([plans-table-names-prices-and-stripe-ids]).
  2. Open this form. Tick the approval box only when you are sure.
  3. Enter an upgrade URL if you want a pricing page of your own.
  4. Type a reason and press Save.
  5. Check the audit log for a “prices_approved” line.

Tips

  • Unticking the box hides prices again straight away.
  • Approving prices does not change what Stripe charges.

If something goes wrong

  • Visitors still see no prices: the box was not saved ticked, or a cache holds an old copy of the feed.
  • The upgrade link goes to the wrong page: check the URL; anything that is not a valid URL is cleared.
