Current plan, usage and credits: every control explained
Field-by-field guide to the Current plan screen: trial, plan choice, card, cancel, usage, exports and AI credits.
Where to find it: Contractor Hub → Settings & Integrations → Current plan (tab title on the page: “Plan & billing”). Owner screen. AI credits open as a pop-up from the account menu or from an AI button (not from this screen).
What it controls: your subscription, what each plan includes, how much of each allowance you have used, your card, cancelling, and exporting your records. The page text: “Your plan, what it includes, how much you’ve used, and your billing.”
Before you start
- All prices, allowances, trial lengths and which plan holds which feature are placeholders, not approved. Set your own in the website owner’s settings. Anything you see on screen comes from there.
- If billing is not switched on for the website, the page only says “Everything is included” (“Billing isn’t switched on on this website, so you have the full Contractor Hub at no charge.”) and shows the export buttons.
- Card payments go through Stripe. See

Top card (status) and its buttons
The headline changes with your status: Free access, Free trial available, Free trial · N days left, “

The cancel window
Says you keep full access until the end of the period (or, on a trial, you will not be charged), that records stay safe for at least a set number of months (a placeholder, not approved) and that you can come back. It includes the export buttons and two buttons: Cancel at the end of this period and Keep my subscription.

Start your free trial window
Lists what the trial gives (trial allowances of AI credits and landscape plans, placeholders), that you add a card now and are not charged today, the price on the first day after the trial, reminder emails a week and a day before, cancelling in one tap, and one free trial per business. Button: Add card & start my free trial.
Before the card step, a window titled “Verify your business” may ask you to confirm by a 6-digit code:

Compare plans and usage
Show every feature/Show only what differstoggles a table of features by plan. Cells read Included, Not included, Unlimited, a number, or Planned.- Your usage shows bars for each limit (for example employees, crews, AI credits, landscape plans a month, storage). Monthly allowances start again on the 1st. Reaching a limit never deletes anything; it stops you adding more. A Recent usage fold-out lists the latest units used.
- Billing history lists events with dates and amounts.
- If a payment fails: full access while it is retried; extras pause at a set day; the account turns read-only; then it is suspended. Day numbers are placeholders. Nothing is deleted and paying restores everything.
📦 Export your records
Six download buttons: Customers, Properties, Quotes, Invoices, Schedule, Activity log. Each downloads a spreadsheet (CSV). They work on any plan and even if you are paused or cancelled.
AI credits pop-up
Opened from the account menu or an AI button. Titled “AI credits”.

Another pop-up, “This uses 1 AI credit”, appears before an AI action. It has Don't ask me again, Cancel and Use 1 credit. “Don’t ask me again” is stored in your browser only.
Steps
- Open Current plan. Read the top card.
- Pick Monthly or Yearly.
- If you are new, click Start N-day free trial, verify, then add a card at Stripe.
- Otherwise click Choose
or Switch to . - Check Your usage once a month.
- To stop, use Cancel subscription and export your records first.
Tips
- Use Suggest a plan if you are unsure.
- Export your records before cancelling. It costs nothing.
If something goes wrong
- “That card has already been used for a free trial”: the trial was cancelled and you were not charged. Choose a plan.
- Payment failed notice: click the update-payment button.
- Limit reached: wait for the 1st of the month, buy a credit pack (for AI credits) or upgrade.
