This is the form behind New service, Duplicate and every template row in the Services area (reach it from Settings → Business → Services → Open Services). The top part is all you need. Everything below the line “That’s all you need. Everything below is optional” sits in collapsible sections. Your role decides what you see: fields marked “cost permission” are hidden from people without it.
Before you start
- Open Services and press New service, or tap an existing template.
- Know the unit you sell by (per visit, per square foot and so on) and, if you wish to see margin, your labor and material costs.

Steps
- Open Services and press New service.
- Type the Service name and Category.
- Choose the Pricing method, enter the price (and Unit or tiers if needed).
- Set Estimated duration and Crew size.
- Open the optional sections you need and fill them in.
- Press Save template. A message says the template is saved.
- To change it later, tap its row, edit, add a Change note and press Save as new version.
Tips
- The top section is enough to start. Add the rest as you learn.
- Customer details, property measurements, job quantities, assigned employees, dates, actual costs, payment status, property notes and final results are never stored in a template; they stay on each job.
- Use the preview box (cost permission) to check margin before saving.
If something goes wrong
- Give the service a name. The name must be at least 2 characters.
- Your role can’t create or change company templates. Ask the owner.
- Price box missing. Tiered by size hides it; use the size tiers instead.
