The public community browser shows designs that members chose to share, plus “Ask for ideas” posts. The front-screen tile is Community designs (subtitle “Ideas from other yards”).

• Browsing is open to everyone. Posting, rating, commenting, following and messaging need a free account.
• The community must be turned on by the site owner (see [community-moderation-settings]). If it is off, the app says “The community isn’t open yet.”
• A member the owner has banned can still design but cannot post, comment, like or message.

1. Tap Community designs.
2. Use the tabs: Discover, Following, Ask for ideas, Leaders, People.
3. Search designs, plants and tags. Sort by Trending, Newest, Top rated, Most liked, Most discussed or Most viewed.
4. Narrow by time (All time, This week, This month, This year) and by rating (4★ and up, 4.5★ and up). Tap a tag to filter by it.
5. Tap a design to open it. A before and after slider appears if the post has a before photo.

Following shows posts from members you follow. If you are signed out it asks you to sign in. A design page lists the plants and features used and how old they were when planted.

1. Open a design in the designer, or tap Share a design in the browser.
2. Choose Show off a design (the plants and features you used are listed automatically).
3. Give it a Title of at least 3 letters. The title can be up to 100 characters.
4. Add a Description (optional) of up to 3000 characters.
5. Pick up to 8 tags, or type your own (30 characters each).
6. Tick the privacy box: your picture does not show a house number, license plates, people’s faces or anything private, and you are happy for it to be public.
7. Tap Post to VisionScaper Browser.

You will see “Your design is live in the VisionScaper Browser!” Followers get a notification.

1. Tap Ask for ideas and choose Take a photo or Upload a picture of a spot in your yard.
2. Add a title and describe the spot: sun or shade, what you like, budget, what to avoid.
3. Tap Ask the community.

Members who reply with ideas earn points, and you get a notification for every reply.

• A small family-friendly word filter checks the title, text and tags. If it trips you see “Please keep it friendly — some words aren’t allowed in the community.”
• If the owner turned on the picture check and added a fal.ai key, an AI looks at the picture. If it fails you see “That picture can’t be posted in the community.” If the checker is down, posting is not blocked, and reports still work.
• Posts go live immediately. Anything reported by enough members is hidden until the owner reviews it.
• Pictures can be up to 4 MB.
• You can post 12 times a day (“You’ve posted a lot today — try again tomorrow.”).

• Add a before photo and good tags so people can find your design.
• Only your display name, photo, bio, level and badges are public, never your email, phone or address.

• “Please sign in first.” Sign in.
• “Your account can’t post in the community. Contact us if you think this is a mistake.” Your account was banned.
• “The picture didn’t come through.” Try a smaller or different picture.

• Ratings, comments, follows, friends and messages in the community
• Points, levels, badges, titles and rewards
• Community moderation and settings (for the site owner)
