Add and manage views of one design
Keep several photos (angles) in one design, rename or delete views, and know what a new view copies.
A design can hold more than one picture. Each picture is called a view and has its own plants, ground changes and scale.
Steps: add a view
- In the top bar, tap Add view (the plus tab after your view tabs).
- In the window Add another view, pick a source: Take a photo, Upload a photo, Bird’s-eye view, Explore in 3D (if available), Sample yard, or Design with AI.
- The new view opens and appears as a tab. It is named “View 2”, “View 3” and so on.
Rename a view
Double-click (or double-tap) the tab, type a name in the box and confirm.
Delete a view
- Select the tab of the view.
- Tap the small × on that tab. It appears only when the design has more than one view.
- Confirm the question that names the view.
Other ways a view is created
- Crop & straighten makes a new view and leaves the original in its tab.
- AI results can be sent into the editor as a new view so every tool works on them.
What the tabs show
An aerial view has a map icon and a photo view has a camera icon.
Tips
- Name views by what they show, such as “Front walk” or “Back patio”.
- The season, years-from-now and day or night settings belong to the whole design, so they apply to every view.
- The thumbnail used on My designs is taken from the open view.
If something goes wrong
- No × on a tab: a design needs at least one view.
- A deleted view is gone: deleting a view also deletes its stored photo, and there is no undo for it. Confirm only when you are sure.
