The Ask AI tool (key A) opens a panel called Design with AI. You describe a change in plain words. VisionScaper shows a plan first, then does it when you say so.

• You must be signed in. Signed out, the panel shows “Sign in to use Design with AI — it’s free.” If the site owner has not set AI up, it says it is “being set up and will be available soon.”
• Planning is free (“Working out a plan… (free)”). The review screen then tells you the cost, such as “This uses 1 credit.” or “This uses no credits.”
• In the code, the paid actions are remove, replace and restyle, one credit each. The credit amounts are placeholders, not approved.
• The credits pill reads “N AI credits” (admins see “AI: unlimited”). Tap it for free-left-today, purchased credits and what is ready to use.
• The site owner sets a daily allowance in Settings, VisionScaper, AI image generations per customer per day. The default is 10 (a placeholder, not approved). The owner can enter 0 to 500.

Guided mode pops up the first time you use the panel. The Guided switch turns it on or off. It counts “Step 1 of 6” (five when you pick the seasons option, which skips “Where?”).
1. What do you want to do? Choose Redesign my yard, Change one thing, Remove something, or See it realistic or another time. Remove something opens the guided removal screens instead; see Remove something.
2. Where? Choose Whole yard, or Pick an area (or Use the selected area if you already outlined one).
3. Tell me more. Type, tap one of the idea chips, or use the microphone (“Say it instead”). Press Next.
4. What should stay the same? Switch on any of: house, driveway, camera angle, plants I placed, fence. The house, driveway and camera angle are on by default. Press Show me the plan.
5. Check and go. Read “Here’s what I understood”, the list of steps and the cost. Press Do it (it shows the credits) or Change it.
6. Your result. Press Accept, Try again or Undo. “Anything else? Accept this, then tell me the next change.”

• If the AI cannot tell what you mean it may ask a question with up to four answer chips. Pick one.
• If the plan skips something it says “I’ll skip:” with the reason.
• AI pictures carry the label “Concept picture – not a build-ready plan”. Tell customers.
• Plain descriptions work best, such as “gravel path with lavender”.
• Provider keys are set by the site owner in Settings. Follow the provider’s current instructions.

• “I still can’t tell what to change”: say it another way, or select the area first.
• Not enough credits: the app offers to get more credits. Free credits refill each day.
• “Slow down a little — try again in a few minutes.” You hit a short-term limit (the code default is 60 an hour; placeholder).
• Result is wrong: Try again, Undo, or Ctrl+Z.
• Scene pictures have their own daily limit (60 a day per the changelog; a code default).
