Get your Cartesia key
Create a Cartesia API key and paste it into the AI Receptionist screen.

Cartesia Sonic is an optional voice layer, described in VisionScaper as the fastest to respond. One field: Cartesia key.
Before you start
- A Cartesia account. Pricing is set by Cartesia.
Steps
- Open play.cartesia.ai/keys and create an API key. Cartesia’s docs link to this page but do not describe its buttons, so screen names are unverified.
- Copy the key.
- In WordPress go to Settings → VisionScaper AI Receptionist, Keys.
- Paste it into Cartesia key and save. A blank box keeps the saved value.
Tips
- Cartesia keys can carry restrictions (scope, credit quota, IP allowlist) per their docs; keep them off unless needed.
- Never put the key in browser code.
If something goes wrong
- Voice fails: create a new key and paste it again.
