Calendar: month view, list view and the day menu
Use the Calendar's Month and List views, tap a day to book work, and block time off.
The Calendar shows every visit: job days, appointments, estimate visits and time off.
Where to find it
Hub left menu, group Schedule & Field, then Calendar.
Month and List
At the top are two tabs: Month and List. VisionScaper remembers the one you used last on that device.
- Month is a grid, Monday to Sunday. Each day shows up to three small chips for its visits, then “+N more”. A day with hours booked shows the total, and a day that fills your working hours is marked full.
- List shows the next four weeks, with a + Visit button, ← Earlier, Today and Later →. Each row has a directions link and a call button when the customer has an address or phone.
Steps: book something on a day
- Open Calendar in Month view.
- Tap a day. A day menu opens. It says how many visits are booked and about how many of your working hours are free.
- Pick an action:
– New job day (crew on site, full or part day)
– Schedule a signed job (only shows when you have signed jobs waiting)
– New appointment (consultation or meeting)
– Site visit
– Maintenance visit
– Follow-up visit
– Door-to-door session, or Open the door-to-door map
– Block time off (vacation, holiday, rain day) - Fill in the visit window and save.
Tap a chip instead of the day to open that visit.
Tips
- Keyboard: arrow keys move between days; Enter opens the day menu.
- Booking a visit puts it on the customer’s VisionScaper calendar and plans their reminders automatically.
- Set your working hours in Settings → Crew & hours. The default shown in the code is 7 AM to 5 PM.
- Signed jobs that still need a date are counted above the grid.
If something goes wrong
- No signed jobs offered. The menu item appears only when a signed job has no visit yet.
- A past day. The menu warns you the day has passed. You can still log something that happened.
