Field work Today: your daily dashboard

Read the Today tab to see scheduled, late, blocked and finished jobs, who is on the clock and what is waiting.

The Today tab answers “what is happening right now?” for one day.

Where to find it

Field work → Today. It needs the right to see every job.

What you see

At the top, use ‹ and › to change the day. The Today button jumps back.

Count tiles. Tap a tile to filter the job list below it. Tap again, or tap Show all, to clear.
– Scheduled
– In progress
– Late
– Blocked
– Awaiting approval
– Needs follow-up
– Completed

Late, Blocked and Awaiting approval turn into an alert when their count is above zero. A job is “late” after a number of minutes you set in Field work → Settings.

Cards below the tiles:
– On the clock now: who is clocked in, for what (job work, travel, prep, shop or break), and since when.
– Not assigned: jobs with nobody on them, plus an Assign people button.
– Who’s on what: each person with their jobs and times.
– Over the labor estimate: jobs where recorded hours passed the estimate.
– Hours worked: how many weeks wait for approval, and how many entries were closed automatically after a missed clock-out.
– Unfinished checklists.

Steps: open a job

  1. Tap any job row. The row shows the time, title, customer, address and crew.
  2. The job card opens. As the office you also see the Crew & time box with Change the time, plus costing and an activity timeline.

Tips

  • Use Today first thing each morning, then work down the alert tiles.
  • Your crew uses My work on their phones. They sign in with the VisionScaper account you linked in Team and see only the jobs you assign.

If something goes wrong

  • “No jobs on this day.” Book visits on the Calendar.
  • A person is missing from “On the clock”. They have not started a timer. See “Clock in and out”.
