Every verified shortcut, mouse action and touch gesture in the designer on one page.
Shortcuts work in the designer when no text box is focused and no dialog is open.

Mouse and trackpad
- Wheel or trackpad pinch: zoom around the pointer, only while over the picture.
- Drag with the Pan tool, or hold Space and drag.
- Right-click an item or an area: opens a menu of what you can do there.
- Double-click a shape point to remove it (Move tool). In Erase & fill, double-click finishes an outline.
- Turn handle: drag the round handle above a selected item. It clicks at straight and square angles. Hold Shift for free turning.
Touch
- Pinch to zoom and drag with two fingers to pan.
- Press and hold (about half a second) in Erase & fill to open the context menu, with a small buzz on supported phones.
- Other tools keep press-and-hold for dragging.
- The selection bar sits at the bottom on small screens with Turn left, Turn right, Flip, Copy, Remove and Done.
Other screens
- Esc closes most pop-up windows.
- Address and search lists: Up and Down move through results, Enter picks, Esc closes.
- Before and after sliders: Left and Right arrows move the divider.
- Tabs: Left and Right arrows move between some tabs.
Tips
- Press 0 any time you get lost after zooming.
- Wheel zoom only works while the pointer is over the picture, so the rest of the page scrolls normally.
If something goes wrong
- A key does nothing: click the picture first so no text box has focus, and close any dialog.
