Get your Deepgram key
Create a Deepgram API key and paste it into the AI Receptionist screen.

Deepgram Aura is an optional voice layer, described in VisionScaper as lowest cost. One field: Deepgram key.
Before you start
- A Deepgram account. Pricing is set by Deepgram.
Steps
- Log in to the Deepgram Console.
- Use the Projects drop-down at top left and choose your project.
- Select Settings, then the API Keys view.
- Select Create a New API Key.
- Fill Friendly Name (Comment) (for example “VisionScaper”), choose Permissions (a role), set Expiration (choose never, or a date you will remember), optionally add a Tag, then select Create Key.
- Copy the key secret. Deepgram shows it only now. Then select Got it.
- In WordPress go to Settings → VisionScaper AI Receptionist, Keys.
- Paste it into Deepgram key and save. A blank box keeps the saved value.
Tips
- Which role the key needs for voice (text-to-speech) was not verified; if calls fail, try a role with wider access.
If something goes wrong
- Lost the secret: create a new key.
- Stopped working: it may have expired.
