Ban or unban members and give or take away bonus points from the Members table.
On this page
Find it under Settings → VisionScaper Community → Members. It shows the top 40 members by lifetime points. Only users who can manage options (WordPress administrators) can open this screen.
The screen’s own note: banned members can still design, but cannot post, comment, like or message.
Columns
Member (name, display name and email), Level (emoji and level name), Points (balance / lifetime), Status (OK or Banned), Action.
Fields
| Field (exact label) | What it does for VisionScaper | What to enter and example | Default / notes |
|---|---|---|---|
Ban / Unban do=ban / do=unban |
Ban sets a banned flag on the member and hides their live posts. Unban removes the flag; their posts stay hidden until you restore them one by one. | Click. Ban asks “Are you sure?”. | Cannot be used on administrators. |
Number box next to the button points |
The amount of points to give. Negative numbers take points away. | Whole number such as 25 or -10. | Default 50 (placeholder, not approved; set your own). |
Give points do=bonus |
Records an “admin” points entry, adds the amount to the member’s balance and sends them a notification. | Click. Message: “Points given.” | A value of 0 does nothing. |
Steps
- Find the member in the table.
- To give a reward, type the number in the box and click Give points.
- To ban, click Ban and confirm. To reverse, click Unban.
- Read the green message.
Tips
- The member sees “You received N bonus points from the team!” for positive values, or “Points adjusted by the team: N” otherwise.
- Point values are your own choice; none are approved.
If something goes wrong
- Member not listed: only the top 40 by lifetime points appear.
- Unban did not bring posts back: restore them in Latest posts.
