Steps
- Tap the plant or feature on the photo.
- For a plant set Size when planted first. Then use Height only if the real plant is a known size.
- Use Move (arrows, or drag on the photo) to place it.
- Use Turn & flip to face it the right way. Plants flip left or right more often than they rotate.
- To plant several, set How many and Spacing, choose a layout and press Plant the group.
- Open Blend into the photo and press Auto blend. Fine-tune with the sliders, then check Shadow direction.
- Optionally give it a Name in the Layer section.
- Press Done. The design saves by itself.
Tips
- Press Auto blend before touching individual sliders; it often gets you most of the way.
- Match Shadow direction to your photo: look at where existing shadows fall.
If something goes wrong
- A plant jumps to a different size when I move the time slider. That is the growth model working. Use Size when planted to set its starting size.
- The plant will not move. It is locked. Open Layers and unlock it.
- I cannot find a plant I hid. Open Layers (top right) and use the eye button.
