Messaging settings: Prices and message packs

Every field in the Prices section: cost per message, margin and the four message packs. All values are placeholders.

Find it in WordPress under Settings → VisionScaper Messaging. Only WordPress users who can manage site options (administrators) see it. This section holds your cost, margin and the extra message packs a business can buy. Every number shipped here is a placeholder, not approved. Set your own.

Before you start

  • Packs are bought through Stripe. Without a Stripe secret key on the main settings page, buying says “Buying message packs isn’t available yet.” See get-stripe-keys.

Email pack e25000: pack_units_e25000, pack_price_e25000 A larger email pack. Same. 25,000 emails, $59 (placeholder, not approved)

Steps

  1. Enter your own cost and margin.
  2. Change pack sizes and prices to ones you approve. Prices are entered in dollars, for example 10.00.
  3. To remove a pack from sale, set its messages or price to 0 and save.
  4. Press Save.

Warning: a pack saved with 0 messages or a 0 price is dropped. The page only draws boxes for packs that are saved, so a removed pack’s boxes disappear and may not come back from this screen (not verified how to restore).

If something goes wrong

  • A business cannot buy: check the Stripe key.
  • A pack is missing: it was saved with a zero.

Steps to save and confirm

  1. Fill in only the boxes you need. Secret boxes always show empty after saving.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and press Save.
  3. A green notice that says “Saved.” appears at the top. That is the only confirmation the page gives.
  4. Boxes for keys show “saved – leave blank to keep” in grey once a value is stored.

Note: a blank key box means “keep what is saved”. You cannot erase a saved key by emptying the box (not verified in code that any other way exists). To replace a key, type the new one.
