AI features work only for signed-in customers. Signed-out visitors see them greyed out with a “Sign in to use AI” prompt. Each AI service needs its own key, which you paste into Settings → VisionScaper, section AI.

Get each key from the provider’s own dashboard. Follow their current instructions and add credits where they require it. Costs mentioned on the settings page are provider estimates and can change.

• AI image generations per customer per day: every AI design, tweak and AI-tool edit uses one. Smart Select and Identify are free.
• No daily limit for site administrators (for testing): ticked by default. Untick it to test as a normal customer.

In the Mobile app section:

• Voice-note summaries: lets the phone app summarize dictated notes. Uses your fal.ai key. Off until you switch it on. A person accepts every suggestion.
• Estimate from a recorded walk: lets the phone app turn a dictated property walk into a DRAFT quote. Uses your fal.ai key. Only typed or dictated text goes out, with emails and phone numbers removed. The AI only picks from your own services and measured areas. Prices come from your rates.

1. Open Settings → VisionScaper → AI.
2. Paste the key you need.
3. Set the daily limit.
4. Save Changes.
5. Sign in as a customer (not admin) and try one AI action.

• Add keys one at a time and test each.
• Contractors have their own monthly AI credits tied to their plan. See [plans-billing-credits-and-usage].

• “Sign in to use AI” shows when signed in. The AI key may be empty.
• AI stops mid-day. The customer hit the daily limit. They can wait or buy credits if you enabled the shop.
• Provider errors. Check your balance and key on the provider’s site.
