Path: Settings → Messages and connections → Connected apps. Bring customers in and out of VisionScaper. Keys are stored encrypted and not shown again. CSV and vCard files work without any setup; use Import / Export on the Customers page.

Each has a card with a Set-up walkthrough (4 steps, about 10 minutes). You create an app on the provider’s site, then paste its details here. Follow each provider’s current instructions.

Fields:

• Client ID and Client secret
• How data moves: Import only, Export only, or Both ways
• QuickBooks company: Production or Sandbox (QuickBooks only)
• Security key (QuickBooks only, optional): a secret that proves a message is from QuickBooks, used for instant updates
• Only import contacts with this Google label (Google only)
• Tick Update automatically every hour
• Tick Pass on deletions (off is safer)

Copy the redirect address shown in the walkthrough into the provider’s console. For Google, enable the People API, add the contacts scope, and set publishing status to In production, or Google disconnects you every 7 days. Exported customers go into a “VisionScaper Customers” label.

Steps

1. Open the card and follow the walkthrough.
2. Paste Client ID and Client secret.
3. Choose how data moves.
4. Click Save settings.
5. Click Connect Google Contacts or Connect QuickBooks Online.
6. To stop, click Disconnect. Customers stay in both places.

QuickBooks sync covers customers only for now. QuickBooks Desktop is not supported.

A form customers fill in on your site. It makes a lead, sends the customer an instant reply and alerts the office. It is off until you tick it. Options:

• Services offered (from your service templates)
• Photos allowed (0 = none)
• Self-booking (optional): visit length in minutes and who can be booked
• Spam protection: always on are a hidden trap field, a minimum fill-in time and a per-address limit. Optional Cloudflare Turnstile with its Turnstile site key and Turnstile secret key.
• Put it on your website: a shortcode for a WordPress page, a one-line snippet, or a link to the form page.

• Search “quickbooks” or “captcha” to jump here.
• Leave the secret box blank to keep the saved one.

• Needs to reconnect. The permission expired. Click Reconnect.
• Items need review. Click the “need review” button to resolve them.
• Spam arrives. Turn on Turnstile.
