Settings: Invoice design

Design how your invoices look and what they say, with a live preview, sections, default notes, tax, due days and a reminder plan.

Path: Settings → Money → Invoice design. A live preview of a sample customer sits beside the form.

Look

  • Upload logo or Use my profile logo (or Remove logo).
  • Logo position: Left, Center, Right.
  • Logo size: Small, Medium, Large.
  • Layout: Classic, Modern, Compact, Bold.
  • Brand color, Font, Heading.
  • License / registration line, for example “CT HIC #0654321 · Licensed & insured”.

Sections & order

Tick which sections appear and use the up and down arrows to reorder. Choose Line item columns: Date, Qty, Unit, Rate, Amount. Choose Details to show: your address, phone, email, website, license line, customer phone, customer email, service address, and a “PAID” stamp.

Default content

  • Custom fields on every invoice (a label and an optional default value, such as PO number).
  • Notes
  • How to pay
  • Terms
  • Thank-you message
  • Footer
  • Default sales tax %
  • Default due in (days)

Default reminder plan

Reminders are sent automatically for every invoice that is not paid, unless you choose a custom plan or none on the invoice. They stop the moment it is paid.

Steps

  1. Upload your logo and pick a layout.
  2. Choose your brand color and font.
  3. Turn sections and details on or off.
  4. Write notes, payment instructions and the footer.
  5. Set tax and due days.
  6. Set the reminder plan.
  7. Click Save invoice design.

Tips

  • Search “logo” or “invoice” to jump here.
  • Put real payment instructions in How to pay. Online payment needs [settings-get-paid-online].
  • Check the preview at small size too.

If something goes wrong

  • Preview is blank. Wait a second; it updates after you stop typing.
  • Reminder texts do not go. Texting must be set up on the site.
  • Changes missing on old invoices. Design changes apply to how invoices are shown. Check the invoice itself.
