Marketing (under Marketing & Growth in the Contractor Hub) is your AI marketing assistant. It reads your leads, estimates, jobs, invoices and messages and finds who to contact, why, and on which channel. Then it writes the message.

1. Open Marketing. On first use you see 👋 Meet your AI marketing assistant.
2. Choose how much it does on its own:
   – ✋ Ask me first: every message waits for one tap in Approvals. New-lead replies and review requests still go right away.
   – 🤖 Autopilot: it sends within your rules (consent, at most one marketing message a week per customer, your sending hours).
3. Optionally paste your Google review link (from Google Business Profile → “Ask for reviews”) and a Booking link.
4. Click 🚀 Start my AI marketing assistant.

You can change the mode later, per automation.

Use ↕️ Arrange tabs to reorder them. A number badge on Approvals counts messages waiting.

The top row shows booked work (90 days), money collected, response rate (30 days), open opportunities, and approvals waiting. Below, opportunities are grouped:

• New leads needing contact
• Missed leads and calls
• Estimates needing follow-up
• Lost estimates to win back
• Inactive customers
• Seasonal opportunities
• Recurring services due
• Upsell and cross-sell
• Review requests
• Referral opportunities

Each card gives the reason, a suggested channel and best time, and buttons: text or email them, ✨ Let AI handle it, or the ⋯ menu (snooze 3 days or 2 weeks, “I already handled it”, dismiss, open customer). The list refreshes every few hours. Check now refreshes it.

Go to Settings → Pause ALL marketing. Campaigns, automations, review requests and AI replies wait. Essential messages (appointments, quotes, invoices) still send. You can set Pause until (optional) to a date. A banner on Today has a Resume button.

Without the full Marketing plan you see a basic version: opportunities, reviews, reminders and one-off messages. Which plan has what is a placeholder, not approved.

• Start in Ask me first mode. Move automations to Autopilot once you trust the wording.
• Use the Finish setting up card on Today for missing steps.

• Nothing on Today: you may have no leads yet. The assistant checks every few hours.
• Messages do not go out: marketing may be paused, or texts are held. See “Marketing safety checks and sending limits”.
