Add social links and a work gallery

Show your Google, Facebook and other links, plus up to 60 finished-work photos, on your pages and proposals.

Social links and your best photos help homeowners trust you. Both are set in Settings → Social & gallery.

  1. Open Settings → Social & gallery.
  2. The tip suggests starting with Google Business Profile, since most local homeowners check reviews before they call.
  3. For each network, paste the full link, or just your @name where it works. The networks are Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram, Houzz, YouTube, Nextdoor, TikTok and LinkedIn. Google, Nextdoor and LinkedIn need the full link from your browser’s address bar.
  4. Switch Show off for any link to hide it everywhere at once. It stays saved.
  5. Click Test to open the saved link. Test opens the exact link homeowners get, so save first.
  6. Check How homeowners will see them.
  7. Click Save social links. A message says how many links are now on your pages.

A link is accepted only when it points to that network’s own site. Errors show under the field. Links open in a new tab and carry no trackers. Every plan includes every network.

They show on your contractor page, your Find a Contractor card, proposals and invoices. The directory card shows the first 3 switched-on links, in the order of the list. The page, proposals and invoices show all.

You can also show social links in your marketing email footer. Tick Show my social links in the footer under Marketing → Settings → Your emails & texts, your style.

  1. In the Work gallery section, click Add a photo.
  2. Choose a picture from your device or camera. The photo is resized to a maximum of 1800 pixels on the long side before it is saved.
  3. To remove a photo, click the × on it.

Your finished work shows on your contractor page. You can add up to 60 photos. If the gallery is not in your plan, a lock note says so (plan assignments are placeholders, not approved).

Tips

  • Use before-and-after shots and the best angle of each job.
  • Don’t include anything you don’t have permission to show, like a customer’s face.

If something goes wrong

  • A link is rejected: it must be on that network’s own website, and Google needs the full link.
  • Add a photo fails: “Up to 60 photos”, or the gallery is not in your plan.
