Community screen: overview and totals
What the Settings → VisionScaper Community screen shows at the top and how its sections fit together.
On this page
Find this screen at Settings → VisionScaper Community in WordPress. Only users who can manage options (WordPress administrators) can open this screen. It is where you moderate what members post in the VisionScaper community and manage member points.
What you see
After the page title there is a green message bar (only after you press an action) and a line of four totals. Then three sections: Needs review, Latest posts and Members.
Fields
| Field (exact label) | What it does for VisionScaper | What to enter and example | Default / notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Posts | Read-only count of community posts whose status is live. | Nothing to enter. | Hidden and removed posts are not counted. |
| Comments | Read-only count of live comments. | Nothing to enter. | |
| Members with points | Read-only count of users who have a lifetime points total stored. | Nothing to enter. | |
| Messages | Read-only count of all member messages stored. | Nothing to enter. | Counts every message, not only live ones. |
| Green message bar | Shows the result of your last action, for example “Removed.” or “Points given.” | Nothing to enter. | Appears only after an action. |
Steps
- In WordPress, open Settings → VisionScaper Community.
- Read the four totals to see how active the community is.
- Scroll to Needs review first. Anything reported or hidden is listed there.
- Then check Latest posts and Members.
Tips
- Check Needs review a few times a week.
- The totals refresh each time you load the page.
If something goes wrong
- If the page says “No.” you are not an administrator.
- If totals show 0 after members have posted, reload the page (effect on stored data not verified beyond the counts above).
