Set up the vision model (no separate key)

VisionScaper's vision model runs through fal.ai: you only need the fal.ai key plus a model name.

VisionScaper has no separate key from a “vision model provider”. The vision model runs through fal.ai’s any-llm endpoint, so it uses your fal.ai key. The only extra field is the model name.

Before you start

  • Get your fal.ai key first: see Get your fal.ai API key.

Steps

  1. Make sure the fal.ai API key is saved under Settings → VisionScaper, AI section.
  2. Find the field Vision model (fal any-llm) just below it.
  3. Leave the default, google/gemini-2.5-flash, unless you have a reason to change it.
  4. To use another model, type the model name exactly as fal.ai lists it. (Which names fal accepts was not verified for this guide; check fal.ai’s model page.)
  5. Click save.

Tips

  • This model is used for identifying items, marketing and CRM text, community checks, and quote drafts, so a wrong name affects several features.
  • Voice-note summaries and drafted quotes in the phone app each use one AI call and have their own on/off checkboxes.

If something goes wrong

  • AI text features fail after changing the name: put back google/gemini-2.5-flash.
  • Nothing works: the fal.ai key is missing.
