Resend is one of three alternative email services in Settings → VisionScaper Messaging. Use it if you prefer it to Postmark.

• A Resend account.
• A domain you own. Resend says you must add and verify at least one domain before you can send, and it cannot be a public or shared domain.

1. Sign in to the Resend Dashboard.
2. Open the Domains page (resend.com/domains). Add your domain, or a sub-domain like updates.yoursite.com. You can choose a region. Follow Resend’s add-a-domain guide for the DNS records. (The record list is not in the pages I read, so it is unverified.)
3. Open the API keys page (resend.com/api-keys).
4. Create a key. You give it a name, a permission, and an optional domain restriction. The permission choices were not confirmed in the docs I read. Choose the narrowest one that allows sending.
5. Copy the key. Resend says you cannot view or edit the value after it is created.
6. In WordPress go to Settings → VisionScaper Messaging and the Email section.
7. In Email service, choose Resend.
8. Paste the key into Resend key.
9. Fill Resend webhook secret if you set up the webhook (see the next article).
10. Click Save.
11. Go to Settings → VisionScaper Marketing and set Send from address to an address on the verified domain.

• If Email service says “Use the one in Marketing settings”, VisionScaper uses the choice made on the Marketing page (Postmark or the site’s mail).
• The plugin sends the From name, a reply-to, and one-click unsubscribe headers with each message.

• “The email service isn’t connected yet.” The key is blank.
• “Set a sender email address first.” Send from address is empty or invalid.
• Resend rejects the send. The domain is not verified or the From address is on another domain.
