US carriers require business texts on local numbers to be registered. Telnyx handles this with a brand and a campaign. VisionScaper does not do the registration for you. It only sends once the carrier accepts the number.

• A Telnyx number already attached to a messaging profile.
• Your legal business name, tax ID (EIN), address, and vertical.
• Realistic sample texts that include opt-out words.
• VisionScaper’s “Get ready to text” answers (see the Twilio registration article) are a good checklist.

1. Create a brand. Enter your legal name, EIN, address and vertical. Telnyx’s page says this step is instant.
2. Vet the brand. A third party gives a trust score from 0 to 100. That score sets your throughput limits. Telnyx’s page calls vetting critical and says it takes 1 to 7 business days.
3. Create a campaign for each use case. Creating it is instant, but carriers must approve it. They read your sample messages.
4. Assign phone numbers to the campaign. The numbers must already have a messaging profile.

You can do all four in the Mission Control Portal: the Brands page, then the Campaigns page, then the Assign Numbers panel on your campaign. Telnyx also offers API calls for each step.

Pick what matches what VisionScaper sends: job updates (customer care) or promotions (marketing). A campaign made for updates only is not meant for promotions. See “Twilio campaign type for marketing texts” for the same rule explained.

• Telnyx’s docs do not list fees on this page. Check Telnyx’s current pricing yourself.
• Use details that match your tax records.
• Write down the brand ID and campaign ID.

• Error 40301 when sending. The number is not assigned to an approved campaign.
• Brand vetting score is low. Throughput is limited. Ask Telnyx how to improve it.
• Campaign rejected. Rewrite the sample texts to be clearer and include “Reply STOP”.
