Choose who gets a campaign
Use stage, services, last job, spend, towns and tags to build an audience, and read why people are left out.
On this page
In the campaign editor, 2. Who gets it builds the list live. You never need to export or paste a list.
Steps
- Under Customer stage, tap chips: potential customers, Prospects, Customers, Past customers, Lost. None picked means everyone.
- Under Had any of these services, tap the services you want, for example fall cleanup.
- Open More filters (last job, spend, town, tags…) for:
– Never had these services
– No work in the last … days
– Worked with you in the last … days
– Spent at least
– Skip anyone messaged in the last … days
– Towns (comma separated, e.g. Avon, Simsbury)
– Has any tag and Has none of these tags
– Open estimate: Doesn’t matter, Has an open estimate, No open estimate
– Rating: Any, 4★ or better, 5★ only - Read the live line: “N will get it of M matching · X reachable by email · Y by text.”
- If some people are left out, read “Not included:”. It lists how many and why, such as no consent, opted out, or no number.
How it is counted
The count shows reachable people for the channel you picked. For example, a text needs a phone number and the customer’s consent. The exact rules are applied by VisionScaper, and the “Not included” line shows the reasons.
Template audiences
Each template starts with a sensible audience:
| Template | Starts with |
|---|---|
| Seasonal service | Customers and past customers who had that service |
| Win-back offer | Prospects and lost estimates with no open estimate |
| Referral program | Customers who rated you 4 or more |
| Maintenance plan | Customers without maintenance or mowing |
| Last few openings | Customers whose last job was within about two years |
You can change any filter.
Tips
- Use Skip anyone messaged in the last … days so no one hears from you too often.
- To collect more text consent first, see “Consent and opt-outs”.
If something goes wrong
- The count is 0: loosen a filter, or switch to Text if allowed, else email.
- Someone you expected is missing: check Marketing → Consent for their status.
