Employee goals and written reviews
Set goals for people on your team and write reviews that the employee reads, confirms and you sign off.
Goals and reviews lets managers set goals and write reviews. The screen says these are working notes for your company, not legal or HR advice.
Where to find it
Hub left menu, group Team & Training, then Goals and reviews. It is a plan feature (which plans is not verified). The right “Set goals and write reviews for the people on their team” is on for managers by default, and leaders and crew see only their own unless the owner says otherwise.
Goals
- Open the Goals tab and tap Add a goal.
- Choose the person.
- Fill in the goal, How it is measured (“How will you know it is done?”) and a due date.
- Set status and Percent done. Statuses: Not started, On track, At risk, Done, Dropped.
- Tap Save goal. Add a Progress note whenever there is news.
Employees see their own goals and can add progress notes.
Reviews
- Open the Reviews tab and tap Write a review.
- Choose the person and a Period or name, for example “Spring 2026”.
- Give a score from 1 to 5 on the six fixed items, then fill in Strengths and Next steps.
- Tap Save draft. “Draft saved. Nobody else can see it yet.”
- When ready, tap Share with the person. This warns that they will see it and it can no longer be edited.
- The employee opens it and confirms I have read this review, with an optional comment. The screen explains that confirming means they read it, not that they agree.
- You tap Sign off and lock. Signing locks it forever. If the employee has not confirmed, you must write why you are signing anyway.
The statuses are Draft, Waiting for the employee, Waiting for sign-off and Signed off.
Fixing a signed review
You cannot edit it. Tap Write a corrected review. The new one points back to the signed one, which stays on file unchanged.
Tips
- A drafts-only list is visible only to its writer.
- Use Download list to save the list of reviews.
- You can print a review from its page (allow pop-ups).
If something goes wrong
- “Choose who the review is for.” Pick a person first.
- No Share button. You may not have the right, or it is already shared.
