The “Needs you” list
The one list of things that need action today, what each row counts, and where each row takes you.
Needs you counts work that is waiting for you. It does not create new data. Each row counts something that already exists, using the same rule as the list it opens. It appears on Today, and also behind the bell icon at the top of every Hub screen.
What the rows mean

Rows are sorted by urgency. Rows marked Now are the high-level ones: no crew, late invoices and budget alerts. Medium rows come next. The “quotes waiting” row is information only, so it does not add to the menu count.
Who sees which row
A row is left out when your role may not open the list behind it. The sales rows (requests, messages, won with no job, quotes waiting) are shown to the owner. Money rows need the right to see money. A crew member will therefore see a shorter list than the owner.
Steps
- Open Today and find the Needs you card. Or tap the bell at the top.
- Tap a row. The matching list opens.
- Work through that list. When the count drops to zero the row disappears.
- When nothing is left you see “All clear. Nothing needs you right now.”
The Suggest times button
On the “no crew” row there is a Suggest times button when you are allowed to assign people. It opens a helper for the first unassigned job. If every job in the next 3 days already has a crew, a message tells you so.
Tips
- The bell shows a total number. Hover or tap it to see the same rows.
- Numbers also appear next to menu items. Only action rows are counted, not the information row.
If something goes wrong
- The count looks wrong. The number comes from the server each time Today loads. Reload Today.
- A row opens an empty list. Someone may have just handled it. Reload.
- You expect a row but it is not there. Your role may not be allowed to open that list.
