The Sales board (pipeline)

See every deal in six columns, mark a deal Lost with a reason, and reopen it, plus the win-rate report on top.

The Sales board is the old “Pipeline”. Open it from Customers & Sales, or with the Sales board button on the Quotes screen. It shows each deal as a card in one of six columns.

The columns

Column What lands here
Lead A customer with no quote yet, or a quote that is still a draft or a request
Quoted A quote that is sent or viewed but not signed
Signed A signed quote with nothing on the calendar yet
Scheduled A signed quote with a job visit booked, or a job marked scheduled or in progress
Done A signed quote whose job is finished
Lost A declined or expired quote, or a customer marked lost

The board stores nothing about where a card sits. Cards move on their own as you send a quote, get it signed, schedule and finish the job. Each column heading shows its count and the dollar value, plus “N not priced yet” for estimates with no price.

Each card shows the customer name, the quote title or number, source, age in days, and “odds” when known. Estimated values show with a “~”.

Steps: mark a deal Lost

  1. Tap a card in Lead or Quoted.
  2. In the window, type Why was it lost? (required).
  3. Tap Mark lost. If the reason is empty you are told to “Say why it was lost first.”
  4. The card moves to Lost.

Steps: reopen a lost deal

  1. Tap the card in Lost. The reason is shown (“Lost: …”).
  2. Tap Reopen as a lead.

Other things in the window

  • Open customer jumps to the customer page.
  • A line reminds you: cards move on their own.

Only these two moves are real state changes the board makes. Anything else, such as signing or scheduling, is done where it belongs (the quote, the calendar). If you try another move, the Hub explains why it is refused.

Tips

  • Open the Signed column often. It is the same list as the “won quote with no job booked yet” row on Needs you.
  • Always give a plain reason. You will use it later.
  • If you want only one column, the page can show it alone, with a link “Show the whole board”.

If something goes wrong

  • A change was refused. The card changed since you opened it. Reload and try again.
  • The report box is missing. The win/loss report needs the right to see money. The board still works.
