Location is shared from the phone only while a person is clocked in, and only if you switch it on. Positions are approximate and distances are estimates.

Field work → Location. The tab can be hidden until you switch it on in the “Show me” tool settings.

Warning: Tracking employees is regulated in many places. The screen shows a legal warning from the website. Check your state’s laws and have a lawyer read the notice wording. VisionScaper does not give legal advice.

1. Open Field work → Location. The settings card is for people who can manage the team.
2. Switch on Share location while clocked in. It is off by default.
3. Leave Ask people to accept a written notice on unless you have checked your laws. Turning it off asks you to confirm.
4. Optional: Show “Location is being shared” in the app, Also track breaks, Email managers a digest of location alerts.
5. Adjust the numbers: Ping every, when moving (seconds), Ping every, when still, Stop below battery (%), Job-site radius (metres), Alert after a stop of (minutes), Delete points after (days).
6. Add an Extra line for the notice if you like. Changing it asks everyone to accept again.

The map lists people who are clocked in. Pins are colored: Live, Last seen, No location, On break. A position older than 15 minutes is drawn grey and labelled “last seen”. It is never drawn as live. Choose a crew from the drop-down, or tap Refresh. It also refreshes every minute.

Pick a person and a date. You see total miles with a note that it is an estimate, miles per job, arrive and leave times at job sites, stops longer than your limit, and a trail map with a playback slider.

• Who accepted the notice shows who accepted and when.
• Requests lets you Download CSV of a person’s location points or Delete them. Deleting cannot be undone, and the change is logged.

• Time entries on the Hours worked tab show a small stamp: on site, a distance from the site, or “no location”.

• “Location sharing is switched off.” Turn on the first switch.
• “Your role doesn’t include team location.” Ask the owner for the live location or history right.
